Your Role

We are looking for a Warehouse Specialist for our New Hudson, Michigan location. You will be responsible for the shipping, receiving, and stock maintenance of Atlas Copco products and supplies to provide an excelled level of customer service satisfaction. Your primary focus will be on inbound shipments, including physical verification of inbound shipments and accurate receipt of goods electronically.You will report to the Materials Supervisor.

This is a 1st Shift Opportunity (7am - 3pm)

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Process all shipping activities, package orders for shipment, prepare shipping documentation and labeling, arrange pick-ups and deliveries, and track shipments as required

• Process all receiving activities, receive goods, enter receipts into computerized tracking system, ensure receipt correctness and packaging, and deliver goods to stock or receiver

• Manage inventory movements throughout warehouse

• Conduct cycle counts and physical inventories as scheduled to maintain a minimum of 99% inventory record accuracy

• Maintain reorder point requisition system for important consumables

• Maintain proper storage and labeling of stock

• Maintain Hilo Driver Certification/Test process

• Contribute to the continuous improvement of important workflow and procedures

• Perform timely and effective preventive maintenance on tools and equipment

• Provide responsive and professional assistance to customers

• Maintain a clean and organized work free from hazard

• Perform material handling responsibilities for both facility buildings

• Other operation/service tasks as assigned.

To succeed, you will need

REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum of two years practical/relevant experience

• DOT Material Hazmat Shipping certification required.

• Strong hands-on mechanical experience

• Strong work/personal ethics

• Spill response training required.

• Able to operate effectively with minimum supervision.

• Ability to lift and move boxes, spools, and other material throughout the day, up to 50 lbs.

• Able to operate a forklift.

EDUCATION:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
