Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and stage machinery for production runs according to specifications.
• Install, adjust, and align tooling, dies, and fixtures for various manufacturing processes.
• Conduct first-piece inspections and test runs to ensure product quality and machine performance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve setup-related issues, making necessary adjustments to optimize production.
• Calibrate equipment and verify settings to meet precise engineering and quality standards.
• Document setup parameters, procedures, and any observed anomalies for future reference and continuous improvement.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance and minor repairs on equipment during changeovers.
• Collaborate with production operators and engineers to optimize setup times and improve efficiency.

Recommended Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in machine setup and changeover within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and proficiency with precision measurement tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers).
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work instructions.
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues during setup or production.
• Adherence to safety regulations and quality control standards.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with PLC troubleshooting or basic programming.
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma principles.
• Proficiency in CAD software for fixture or tooling design.
• Experience using CMMS or ERP systems for maintenance tracking.
