Position Summary
We are seeking a skilled Automotive Service Technician to perform vehicle repair and maintenance in accordance with dealer and factory standards. This role welcomes technicians, trainees, and apprentices looking for growth in a professional and rewarding environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive and process repair orders accurately and efficiently.
- Diagnose vehicle malfunctions and perform authorized repairs.
- Communicate with the Parts Department to acquire necessary parts.
- Tag, save, and return parts as required, especially for warranty jobs.
- Inform service advisors promptly about additional work or issues.
- Document all work performed and complete thorough quality checks.
- Road-test vehicles to ensure repairs meet quality standards.
- Attend training sessions and stay updated on factory technical bulletins.
- Maintain cleanliness of customer vehicles and adhere to safety and housekeeping policies.
- Follow all federal, state, and local regulations related to service repair.
Work Environment and Physical Requirements
- Occasional climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling.
- Frequent lifting or moving of objects up to 25 pounds; occasional lifting up to 100 pounds.
- Regular walking, sitting, talking, and hearing.
- Work hours may include evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

Job Requirements:
Qualifications and Experience
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Michigan Mechanic Certification.
- Valid driver's license and satisfactory Motor Vehicle Report (MVR).
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions and technical information.
- Professional personal appearance and excellent communication skills.
- Ability to meet production and quality standards consistently.
- Commitment to customer satisfaction and teamwork.
- Ability to follow lawful directions, work rules, and procedures.
- Positive attitude and ability to maintain employee morale.
- Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
