Labeltape Inc. is searching for a Controller who will be responsible for leading all financial management, administrative operations and internal controls to ensure the organization’s long-term sustainability and compliance with applicable regulations. This role is a key member of the leadership team and serves as a strategic partner to the President.

Key Responsibilities

· Oversee day-to-day accounting, including general ledger, accounts receivable and payables, payroll and month-end and year-end close.

· Manage relationship with financial institutions, auditors, and insurance agencies.

· Ensure compliance with laws and regulations, including tax planning and compliance.

· Direct administrative functions of Human Resource management, employee insurance and business insurance.

· Partner with operations leaders to develop budgets, monitor financial performance and support data-driven decision making.

· Assist President and other staff members to promote a culture of accountability, service and continuous improvement.

· Monitor cash flow, profitability, and capital expenditures to ensure financial stability.

Qualifications

· Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field along with a CMA, CPA or relevant master’s degree.

· 10+ years of progressive experience in financial, accounting and administration, including at least 5 years in a leadership or management role.

· Strong knowledge of financial principles (GAAP) and experience with budgeting and financial reporting.

· Familiarity with ERP systems and financial reporting tools (e.g. QuickBooks).

· Strategic thinking and the ability to translate business objectives into financial strategies.

· Excellent decision-making, analytical, and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and accuracy; ability to explain financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.

· Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and executive management.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

· High level of integrity and dependability.

· Proven ability to lead, manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Working Conditions and Compensation

· On-site, full-time, exempt position reporting to Company President

· Compensation: competitive salary commensurate with experience, plus benefits (i.e. health insurance, 401(k), paid time off)
