CJ’s Catering & Food Service – Southeast Michigan

CJ’s Catering is a proud, family-owned food service company dedicated to nourishing K–12 charter school students throughout Southeast Michigan. We’re currently looking for a reliable, detail-oriented team member to assist with daily school meal deliveries and kitchen support tasks.

Position Overview:

This is more than a driver role — it’s a hands-on support position that plays a key part in our daily school meal operations. You’ll work closely with our kitchen team and partner schools to ensure meals are delivered safely, accurately, and on time.

Hours & Pay:

• Shift: 5:00/6:00 AM – 11:00 AM.
• Starting Pay : $18/hour
• Schedule: Monday–Friday only — No weekends, no holidays!
• Benefits: 401(k) with company match after 1 year.

Key Responsibilities:

• Load and unload food delivery vans with packaged school meals.
• Drive meals to various K–12 charter school sites in SE Michigan.
• Communicate with school staff to fulfill specific site needs.
• Accurately fill out and submit daily production worksheets.
• Represent CJ’s Catering professionally at each delivery location.
• Maintain cleanliness and care of delivery vehicle and equipment.

Requirements:

• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Comfortable with physical tasks (lifting 40+ lbs, standing, loading/unloading).
• Attention to detail and ability to follow standardized procedures.
• Professional demeanor and strong communication skills.
• Dependable and punctual — early mornings are essential.
