Job Overview

We are currently looking for a paid Engineering Intern based in our Distribution Center to join our team in Holland, MI . This position will be working onsite at the Haworth Corporate Headquarters .

As an Engineering Intern in the Distribution Center, this internship will introduce you to the Distribution Center (DC) at Haworth to support engineering operations and assist with small-scale projects. The primary objective for this internship is to contribute to minor Request for Expenditures (RFE) initiatives and projects while also providing support for daily engineering functions. This internship will offer valuable hands-on experience in real-world engineering applications. Past projects and future projects could consist of capital funds review for replacing equipment in the manufacturing areas. A project of this scope would include talking with vendors, sourcing equipment and purposing those ideas/finds to obtain capital funds for the project.

• Part-time or full-time college enrollment, working towards a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or General Engineering, with at least a junior level status by Fall of 2026.
• Ability to work onsite in Holland, MI from May 2026 to August 2026.
• Applicants must possess an unrestricted right to work in the US to be eligible for the position.

Preferred Qualifications

• Overall GPA of 2.95 or higher.
• Python experience.
• Higher level Excel experience/knowledge.
• SAP/ERP experience/knowledge.
• Previous internships or working experience in a large scale/scope size company.
• Extracurricular activity experience.

Ideally, you have also demonstrated the following:

• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Desire to learn, question, and research solutions to problems.
• Organized with the ability to manage deadlines.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong working knowledge of personal computers, spreadsheet applications and keyboard skills.
