Tax Manager – Hybrid (3 Days In-Office)
About the Role
Our client, a large international manufacturer known for its innovation and commitment to quality, is seeking a Tax Manager to join its growing U.S. tax team. As a key member of the corporate tax function, you will lead U.S. income tax accounting and reporting activities, ensure accuracy in financial statements, and coordinate with domestic and international teams on tax strategy and compliance. The position combines hands-on tax provision work with leadership, process improvement, and strategic insight—perfect for a motivated professional looking to grow within a high-performing, globally integrated business.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage preparation and review of quarterly and annual U.S. income tax provisions under ASC 740.
- Oversee deferred tax calculations, effective tax rate analysis, valuation allowances, and return-to-provision reconciliations.
- Consolidate and communicate U.S. tax provision data for global reporting purposes.
- Maintain and document key tax attributes, including net operating losses, tax credits, and Section 163(j) carryforwards.
- Supervise international and domestic tax computations for provision and budgeting, including BEAT, GILTI, and FDII.
- Partner with external advisors and internal stakeholders to align provision and compliance processes.
- Monitor and interpret changes in U.S. tax law and assess their impact on reporting and planning.
- Review tax-related disclosures for internal financial statements and corporate reporting packages.
- Support tax forecasting, budgeting, and strategic planning related to tax expense and cash tax management.
- Provide technical support during audits, preparing documentation and responding to inquiries.
- Champion process improvement initiatives and system enhancements using ONESOURCE, SAP, and other tax technologies.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required;
- CPA or Master’s in Taxation preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in U.S. income tax provision and compliance, ideally within a multinational corporation or Big 4 firm.
- Strong technical knowledge of ASC 740 and U.S. federal and state income tax laws.
- Experience with ONESOURCE Tax Provision and SAP highly desirable.
- Exceptional analytical, leadership, and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
