Salary Range: $46,000 - $77,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and maintain CNC machines (mills, lathes, grinders).
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and G-code.
• Monitor machine operations and adjust settings to ensure quality and optimize performance.
• Perform in-process and final inspections of machined parts using precision measuring instruments.
• Load and unload parts, tooling, and fixtures accurately and efficiently.
• Troubleshoot and resolve minor machine alarms or operational issues.
• Conduct routine preventative maintenance on CNC equipment.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proficiency in setting up and operating CNC milling and/or turning centers.
• Strong understanding of G-code and M-code for programming, editing, and troubleshooting.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering blueprints, schematics, and Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
• Experience with precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and bore gauges.
• Skilled in performing in-process quality checks and making necessary adjustments to maintain part specifications.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with advanced metrology equipment (e.g., CMM, optical comparators).
• Demonstrated ability to write or optimize G-code manually for complex parts.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles or continuous improvement methodologies.
• Basic machine maintenance and troubleshooting skills.
