Job Summary:

This role will support the Supply Chain Data & Analytics team by delivering analytical solutions to derive supply chain insights, create predictive tools and monitors for key indicators, improve data automation, and perform periodic independent data analysis and reporting to enable actionable data-driven solutions. This role will help standardize supply chain data & analysis as well as lead projects to expand business intelligence and analytical methods.

Job Description:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES (other duties as assigned):

  • Advance Data & Analytics capabilities to support rapid analysis and expanded usage within Supply Chain. Manages and coordinates periodic BI User Group forums.
  • Collaborate with supply chain Strategy team members to prioritize development and unique analysis required.
  • Oversee data automation initiatives that improve business performance through efficiency and process improvement. Serve as a resource for emerging platform changes and promote early adoption of solutions within the team.
  • Recommend actions based on data analytics to increase efficiency in Supply Chain business operations.
  • Coach and develop analysts with a clear intention to seed other supply chain areas with technical talent grounded in data skills.

SCOPE & IMPACT:

Responsible for Data & Analytics supporting Supply Chain functions across La-Z-Boy Residential, Retail, and JoyBird businesses. Contribute to analysis tools supporting areas such as Sourcing, IBP, Manufacturing, Quality, and Engineering. Leading projects in collaboration with IT and business teams to bridge content and provide independent analysis expected to deliver major program initiatives as a key member of Supply Chain Strategy.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business, or related field with 6-8 years of relevant work experience, or equivalent
  • 1-3 years of supervisory/leadership experience
  • Strong proficiency in EXCEL and POWERPOINT, BI tools in both application design and data transformation, database queries, SQL
  • Experience with Multi-site and Cross Functional Team Coordination
  • Up to 20% travel

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:

  • 3+ years of supervisory/leadership experience
  • ASCM (APICS), or Equivalent Certification in Supply Chain principles
  • Snowflake, Power BI platform development

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: up to 3 direct reports
