I’m looking for a Rap Artist Manager to help me oversee artist management, business strategies & operations, and occasional personal tasks as business has gotten too big to manage on my own. Full-Lifestyle management for a rapper. This is a contract/hybrid role (Detroit-based with some remote flexibility).

I’m not pressed about experience, if you got it, cool. If not, I’m willing to train. What matters most is that you’re tapped in, you respect the culture, and you move with humility.

Important:

• Don’t come “flexing” who you’ve worked with to try to belittle my process. I’m impressed by intentionality, respect, and hustle... not arrogance or status. I am not here to be interviewed...this is your interview, but on a higher level, we are interviewing each other to see how we mesh together.
• Communication must be intentional and professional.

Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day activities of artists (scheduling, planning, etc.)
• Coordinate with studios, labels, and other stakeholders
• Organize promotional activities and events
• Support artist career development strategies
• Oversee aspects of business operations under the brand

Qualifications:

• Strong communication & negotiation skills
• Organization & leadership ability
• Knowledge of the music industry is a plus (not required)
• Experience in management/contract negotiation is a plus (not required)
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Pay:

• 10% commission on all bookings you secure (non-negotiable starting point)
• Potential profit-sharing from businesses you help oversee
• Pay can increase depending on how you prove your value
