3CON is seeking a Junior Process Technician to support the mechanical pneumatic assembly of custom automated machinery. This entry-level role is ideal for candidates with strong mechanical aptitude who want hands-on experience building industrial machines and gradually developing automation and troubleshooting skills.

You will often work in collaboration with OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers, including Ford, GM, Tesla, Mercedes, and BMW, gaining exposure to world-class manufacturing standards and processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with mechanical assembly of machines, fixtures, and automation equipment
• Install components such as frames, guards, actuators, sensors, and tooling
• Support basic electrical and pneumatic wiring under supervision
• Read and follow mechanical drawings, assembly instructions, and basic schematics
• Support machine testing, adjustments, and run-off
• Assist senior technicians with troubleshooting and equipment modifications
• Use hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment safely
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
• Travel up to 40% for installation and support is required

Required Qualifications

• Technical certificate, associate’s degree, apprenticeship, or hands-on experience in machine building, industrial mechanics, automation, or manufacturing
• Strong mechanical aptitude and interest in machine assembly and processes
• Comfortable using hand tools and shop equipment
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and perform physical job duties
• Specialty tools provided by 3Con, General tools supplied by employee
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship

Preferred Qualifications

• Entry-level experience in machine building, tool making, or industrial assembly
• Familiarity with pneumatics, sensors, actuators, or linear motion systems
• Exposure to automated or robotic equipment
• Passport
