Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time or part-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed for a K-12 school setting in Pinckney, MI, for the 2025-2026 school year. This role involves providing speech and language services primarily to pediatric students as part of a leave replacement contract.
Key qualifications and desired experience include:
- Active Michigan SLP license
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology preferred
- Experience working with pediatric populations
- Previous school-based experience is highly valued
Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive speech and language evaluations, therapy, and progress monitoring for students with communication disorders
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) aligned with student needs
- Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions, assessments, and student progress in accordance with school and state guidelines
- Participate in meetings and professional development opportunities relevant to the role
Location:
Pinckney, Michigan, serving students in grades K through 12 within the school environment.
