NOW HIRING -Delta Force PI, LLC is hiring for full time and part time armed security officers for assignments in STURGEON BAY, WI. Must be at least 21 years of age, clean background check. Prior experience preferred but not required. Good judgement, dependability, and professionalism are key. DESCRIPTION OF JOB DUTIES: Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle Watch for irregular or unusual conditions that may create security concerns or safety hazards Sound alarms or call police or fire department in case of fire or presence of unauthorized persons Warn violators of rule infractions, such as loitering, smoking or carrying forbidden articles Permit authorized persons to enter property and monitors entrances and exits Observe departing personnel to protect against theft of company property and ensure that authorized removal of property is conducted within appropriate client requirements Investigate and prepare reports on accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities Provide assistance to customers, employees and visitors in a courteous and professional manner The Ideal Candidate Education, Licenses and Certifications Required Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent Must be able to pass any State-required training or other qualifications for licensing Type and Length of Specific Experience Required If previously employed, meaningful and verifiable work history SKILLS REQUIRED: Ability to operate radio or telephone equipment and/or console monitors Ability to interact cordially and communicate with the public Effective oral and written communication skills Active listening skills Ability to assess and evaluate situations effectively Ability to identify critical issues quickly and accurately Attention to detail OTHER: Must be at least 21 years old. Answer alarms and investigate disturbances. Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to guard against theft and maintain security of premises. Write reports of daily activities and irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences. Patrol industrial or commercial premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion and ensure security of doors, windows, and gates. Call police or fire departments in cases of emergency, such as fire or presence of unauthorized persons. Respond to medical emergencies by administering basic first aid or by obtaining assistance from paramedics. Circulate among visitors, patrons, or employees to preserve order and protect property. Answer telephone calls to take messages, answer questions, and provide information during non-business hours or when switchboard is closed. Operate detecting devices to screen individuals and prevent passage of prohibited articles into restricted areas. Inspect and adjust security systems, equipment, or machinery to ensure operational use and to detect evidence of tampering.
