Our client in Clare, MI, is seeking a Welding Robot Operator to join their team. As a Welding Robot Operator, you will be part of the manufacturing team supporting production efforts. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Welding Robot Operator

Location: Clare, MI

Pay Range: $15.50 an hour

Shift:
1st - 8 am to 4 pm
**overtime is scheduled prior to shift start time. Overtime can be heavy at times.

What's Needed?

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role.
• High School diploma or GED REQUIRED.
• Ability to lift work pieces manually or using a hoist.
• Familiarity with machine controls and welding techniques.
• Strong attention to detail and quality inspection skills.

What's the Job?

• Set up, maintain, and operate robotic welding equipment according to order specifications.
• Position, secure, and fabricate parts for manufactured products.
• Inspect and measure machined work pieces to verify conformance to specifications.
• Unload welded parts from the robotic welder and place them in appropriate containers.
• Read job specifications (blueprints) to determine welding and material requirements.
