The hotel shuttle driver transports guests safely between the hotel and local destinations like airports, train stations, or attractions. They act as the first and last point of contact for guests. The role demands excellent customer service, a pristine driving record, and a deep commitment to passenger safety.
Responsibilities:- Safe Transport: Drive hotel shuttles according to established schedules or on-demand requests.
- Guest Service: Greet guests warmly and assist with loading and unloading luggage.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Perform pre-trip inspections, clean the vehicle interior, and track fuel levels.
- Local Guidance: Answer guest questions regarding hotel amenities and local area attractions.
- Cross-Training: Assist the front desk or act as a bellhop, concierge, or houseperson during downtime.
- Clean Driving Record: Maintain a valid driver's license with no major traffic violations in the last 3-5 years.
- Commercial License: Obtain a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a passenger endorsement if driving vehicles designed for 16 or more passengers.
- Customer Skills: Possess strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Physical Stamina: Lift heavy luggage weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Schedule Flexibility: Work early mornings, late nights, weekends, and holidays as required by hotel operations.
