Job Description
The Delivery Truck Driver is responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently from distribution centers or warehouses to customer locations. This role requires a valid driver's license, a clean driving record, and strong time management skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate company delivery truck to transport goods.
Load and unload products using appropriate equipment (e.g., hand truck, pallet jack).
Ensure cargo is properly secured and handled with care.
Follow assigned routes and schedule to ensure timely deliveries.
Obtain delivery confirmations and signatures as required.
Perform daily vehicle inspections and report maintenance issues.
Adhere to all traffic and safety regulations.
Provide excellent customer service at all delivery points.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Valid driver’s license (Class D or higher, depending on truck size).
Clean driving record.
Previous delivery or truck driving experience preferred.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs or more.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
