Description of the role:

Glenn Buege Chevrolet is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Automotive Title Clerk and Accounts Payable/Receivable individual to join our team in Eaton Rapids, MI. In this role, you will be responsible for managing vehicle titles, handling accounts payable and accounts receivable tasks to ensure smooth financial operations within the dealership. This position offers an hourly wage of $19.00 - $23.00, paid bi-weekly. • Glenn Buege Chevrolet is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Automotive Title Clerk/AP and AR to join our team in Eaton Rapids, MI. This role involves managing vehicle titles, handling accounts payable and receivable tasks, and ensuring accurate financial record-keeping while collaborating closely with various departments to support smooth dealership operations. The ideal candidate will be reliable, efficient, and knowledgeable about state and federal regulations related to vehicle titles and financial processes.

  • Coordinate with the Secretary of State and other relevant entities to ensure timely title transfers and registrations.
  • Manage accounts payable including invoice processing, payment scheduling, and vendor communications.
  • Handle accounts receivable tasks such as billing, collections, and tracking payments.
  • Maintain organized records of all financial transactions and ensure compliance with company policies.
  • Assist the finance team with month-end closing and reporting activities.
  • Provide exceptional support to dealership staff and customers related to title and financial inquiries.
  • Assist with phones and cashiering.
  Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous experience in automotive title clerking, accounts payable, or accounts receivable is highly desirable.
  • Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with accounting software.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of the Michigan Secretary of State processes and automotive industry standards is a plus.
