Salary Range: $49,000 - $76,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine and non-routine calibration of manufacturing equipment and instrumentation.
• Maintain accurate calibration records and documentation in accordance with quality management systems.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and adjust precision measurement equipment to ensure accuracy.
• Develop, implement, and validate calibration procedures and work instructions.
• Ensure all calibration activities comply with industry standards (e.g., ISO, NIST traceable) and internal quality requirements.
• Manage and track calibration schedules, ensuring timely completion to minimize downtime.
• Assist in internal and external audits related to calibration processes and data.

Recommended Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's degree in a technical field (e.g., Metrology, Electronics, Instrumentation) or relevant technical certification preferred.
• 1-3 years of experience in calibration, metrology, or a related technical role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of measurement principles, calibration standards (e.g., ISO/IEC 17025), and various types of test equipment.
• Proficiency in mathematical calculations and data analysis relevant to metrology.
• Demonstrated ability to accurately document calibration results and maintain detailed records.
• Familiarity with calibration management software and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) or dedicated calibration management software.
• Familiarity with ISO 17025 or other relevant quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001).
• Ability to perform minor repairs or advanced troubleshooting on test and measurement equipment.
• Understanding of measurement uncertainty analysis.
