Job Responsibilities
Become part of an iconic brand that is set to revolutionize the all-electric pick-up truck & rugged SUV marketplace by achieving the following:
- Be responsible for the electrical hardware design of all IID antenna modules and standalone components under your span of control. Including Wireless Connectivity, Bluetooth, radio signals, Wi-Fi, AM/FM, 5G. Your scope can cover from clean sheet of paper through virtual development, testing/sign-off and manufacturing launch for all-electric pick-up and rugged SUVs
- Work with Studio, Concept, BIW, Purchasing and Finance counterparts to develop technical specifications in support of the quoting and sourcing process for components under your control
- Work with Tier 1 suppliers, key module owners, BTVs to release all appropriate IID antenna modules and components
- Be part of a diverse team fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture, promoting continuous learning and professional development among team members
- Perform virtual and physical verification testing, including field testing
- Ensure designs conform to safety standards and U.S. government regulations
- Proactively stay attuned to consumer experience and propose system improvements accordingly
- Contribute to the design of production facilities for trucks & SUVs
- Manage supplier resources efficiently to deliver components and systems that meet cost, timing, and quality targets
- You will have under your responsibility a wide portfolio of components including FM diversity antennas, BT, WiFi, cell phone and GNSS
- Manage MNO certification for our connectivity module and antenna set
- Ensure antenna architecture is compatible with major infotainment connectivity systems such as Android Auto and Apple CarPlay whilst ensuring connection stability and the best customer experience
- You will be in charge of creating and following through with all necessary engineering change orders necessary for the proper implementation of your components in response to overall architectural changes or cost optimization efforts

Heres what else youll bring:
- Bachelors or masters degree in electrical engineering, radio frequency systems engineering or combined electrical engineering, systems engineering, or a relevant field
- 10+ years of experience in the antenna component areas and relevant automotive assignments, covering all phases of product development (design, test, and launch)
- Strong technical skills and expertise in connectivity system architecture, FM/AM radio systems, interfacing with MNOs and Tier1 suppliers while employing a six-sigma approach to engineering design and problem-solving
- Familiarity with computer-aided design software and computer-aided engineering (CAE) or direct experience in this field
- Experience dealing with industrial design studio, CMF (color, material and finish) and electrical concurrent requirements
- Ability to build strong working relationships with individuals at all organizational levels, including the supplier base
- Practical knowledge of antenna system validation and verification processes and tools
