Job Details

We are seeking a highly motivated Litigation Attorney with at least 2 years of courtroom experience to join our esteemed legal team in Greensboro.

This role offers a unique opportunity for an attorney with experience in (or a strong interest in) construction law.

The ideal candidate is confident in the courtroom, skilled in arguing motions, and eager to actively engage in both the legal community and industry organizations alongside our firm.

Responsibilities:

• Manage all phases of the litigation process with a focus on construction law cases.
• Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to advise clients on their legal rights and obligations.
• Draft and review legal documents including pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery requests, and responses.
• Represent clients in court, before government agencies, or in private legal matters.
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, judicial officers, and team members.
• Participate in case strategy meetings, negotiation discussions, and settlement conferences.
• Maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality in all interactions.
• Stay current with the latest developments in the legal field, especially in construction law, to ensure the highest level of service to clients.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctorate (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Licensed and in good standing in North Carolina.
• A minimum of 2 years of litigation experience, preferably in construction law.
• Exceptional research, analytical, problem-solving, and writing skills.
• Proven experience in drafting and arguing motions, conducting discovery, and managing large caseloads effectively.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Proven track record of representing clients in court and achieving favorable results.
• High ethical standards and professional integrity.
