**What You'll Do:**
+ Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as directed.
+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the assigned location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
+ Monitor entrances, exits, and other access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and maintain a visible presence.
+ Maintain detailed records and logs of patrols, incidents, and observations as required by site-specific procedures.
+ Communicate promptly and clearly with Allied Universal management, site personnel, and emergency responders when necessary.
+ Operate and maintain assigned security-related equipment, including radios and access control devices, in accordance with company and site-specific guidelines.
+ Assist with the enforcement of site rules, policies, and regulations as required by the location and Allied Universal protocols.
**Minimum Requirements:**
+ Be at least 21 years of age.
+ A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
+ An armed guard card or license is preferred.
+ Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
+ Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
+ A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
