Respiratory Therapist
Duties:
Job Summary:
Under general supervision of the Respiratory Therapy Supervisor, delivers lifesupport, resuscitation, monitoring and various medical gases therapy to patients.
Performs invasive and noninvasive diagnostic procedures to Intensive Care and General Practice Units patients.
Maintains clinical expertise for Departmental assignments at various business units throughout, as assigned.
Communicates effectively with patients, coworkers, physicians and other system employees as needed, regarding patient care needs.
Adequately documents all aspects of patient care. Supervises, directs and delegates to Respiratory Therapists, Respiratory orients, externs and students, as assigned. Completes necessary and accurate patient billing information.
Required Skills & Experience:
Two years of recent Respiratory Therapist experience. Preferred Skills & Experience: N/A Education:
Required Education:
Associate of Science Degree, from an accredited Respiratory Therapist program. Preferred Education:
Bachelors in Respiratory Therapy preferred.
Required Certification & Licensure:Registration with the National Board of Respiratory Care.
Current License Respiratory Therapist in the State of Michigan.
BLS Preferred Languages:

Duration: 13 Weeks Interview: Phone Certification: ARRT - T and BLS Experience: 2 years Schedule: M- F, 7:30 - 4:00
Preferred experience with Varian and Aria Clinic located on the main campus in Detroit.
Would be working on True Beams and would be working with 1 or 2 other individuals on shift.
No On Call No Weekends. Shift Hours:
7:30 AM - 4:00 PM
