As a Security Officer Credential Verification in Detroit, MI , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Cultural Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic cultural institution location, where you will manage access control, monitor assigned areas, and support a welcoming environment through strong communication and customer service. You will remain visible to help deter security-related incidents while assisting visitors, staff, and guests. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control protocols, and/or emergency response activities at a cultural institution location.
• Monitor entrances, verify credentials, manage visitor access, and report unusual activity or unauthorized entry attempts in a calm and professional manner.
• Respond to incidents, guest concerns, and critical situations with a problem-solving approach while following post orders and site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around interior areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter access points, with working conditions that may vary by location.
• Help to deter disruptions by maintaining a visible presence, assisting staff, visitors, and/or guests, and documenting security-related incidents and daily activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
