Location: Grand Rapids and surrounding areas

Pay: $24.00 – $25.00 per hour

Position Overview

We are seeking a Window & Door Installer to complete residential and commercial installations in the Grand Rapids area. This role works under the direction of the Installation Crew Leader to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.

Installers report daily to our Oak Industrial Drive location and travel to job sites in company vehicles. Employees are paid from departure to return to the office. Work hours are consistent year-round, with typical schedules beginning between 6:30 a.m. and 7:00 a.m. and ending between 3:30 p.m. and 6:00 p.m., depending on project scope and location.

Key Responsibilities

• Install windows and doors according to established installation guidelines and quality standards

• Work under the direction of the Installation Crew Leader

• Determine appropriate installation methods, tools, and materials for each project

• Test and demonstrate proper operation of installed units to customers

• Maintain a clean and organized job site

• Communicate effectively with customers, team members, and builders

• Explain product features and installation details to homeowners and contractors

• Record detailed job information and communicate updates as needed

• Perform service and recovery work when required

• Follow all safety guidelines and procedures

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED

• 1–3 years of window installation experience required

• Knowledge of general construction practices and terminology

• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions

• Proficient with hand and power tools

• Comfortable using computers, tablets, and smartphones

• Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office

• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or on a team

Physical Requirements

• Frequently lift and carry objects weighing 100+ pounds

• Climb stairs, ladders, and scaffolding

• Stand for extended periods

• Work at heights

• Visually inspect materials and completed installations

• Present information clearly to customers and coworkers
