Shipping Clerk
Warehouse Administrator
Location: Grand Rapids, MI
Schedule: Full-time | Day shift hours, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Monday-Friday
Pay: $18/hr
Position Summary:
The Warehouse Administrator is responsible for overseeing warehouse documentation, supporting inventory management, and assisting with day-to-day administrative operations. This role is critical to keeping shipping, receiving, and production workflows running efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate warehouse records, including inventory counts, shipping and receiving logs, and order documentation.
- Process purchase orders, invoices, and inventory adjustments using warehouse management or ERP systems.
- Coordinate with warehouse staff, supervisors, and logistics partners to ensure timely delivery and accurate shipments.
- Assist with scheduling shipments, deliveries, and material movements within the warehouse.
- Generate reports on inventory levels, order status, and warehouse performance metrics.
- Ensure compliance with safety procedures, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives for warehouse organization and workflow efficiency.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 1–3 years of experience in warehouse administration, logistics, or inventory control preferred.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and inventory/ERP systems.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment and occasionally assist with physical tasks.
