Animal Medical Center of Troy is seeking a Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our team!

This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates or early career technicians who thrive on building meaningful connections with clients and their pets. Our experienced technicians provide in-depth mentorship to LVTs seeking to elevate their skills to the next level. At our hospital, technicians are valued for their expertise and education, playing a key role in delivering a positive, comprehensive client experience.

In this role, you will:

• Provide exceptional patient and client care by ensuring an efficient exam room workflow.

• Maintain accurate, detailed medical records.

• Review treatment plans and discharge instructions with clients, answering questions with empathy and clarity.

• Support the veterinarian’s orders during outpatient care and procedures to ensure the highest level of patient care.

This position is ideal for technicians who excel in client engagement and schedule management while delivering exceptional care and communication.

This is a flexible position, with availability needed Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and rotating Saturdays. We are open to full-time or part-time scheduling.

Full-time benefits and compensation**:

• Compensation: $21-23 per hour, for each hour worked*

Minimum qualifications and skill set:

• 1+ years of veterinary experience in a clinical setting
• Current Veterinary Technician License in the state of Michigan
• Proficiency in the following skills:
  • Medication administration
  • Client communication & education
  • Phlebotomy
  • Outpatient procedure assistance
