Great candidates will be highly detail-oriented, able to work independently, and possess a strong willingness to learn. We like lifelong learners who thrive on technical variety, enjoy project-based workloads, and are excited to apply their skills across different domains (we’re talking about you, generalists!).
Location: Saline, Michigan (In-person). Our “historic schoolhouse” office supports hands-on collaboration, mentorship, and real-time problem solving.
What You’ll Do (Essential Functions):

- Document test results accurately and track PCB assemblies using standard office tools (e.g., Word, Excel).
- Carefully package finished PCB assemblies and harnesses for distribution, integration, or storage.
What You’ll Bring (Minimum Requirements):
- High school diploma, active coursework, or equivalent practical experience in electronics, electrical engineering, or a related technical field.

- Must be able to use basic electrical testing equipment such as a digital multimeter, oscilloscope, and power supply.
- Able to read and interpret electrical schematics.
- A general understanding of electrical concepts with the ability to troubleshoot issues and work independently.
- Proficient with basic office tools (Word, Excel) to navigate documentation.
- Strong communication skills, a high level of detail orientation, and a genuine willingness and interest in learning within a highly integrated team environment.
- Ability to lift objects up to 30 lbs.
- Ability to remain in a stationary position (standing or sitting) for extended periods while soldering, assembling, or testing.
- Ability to move about the office/lab/testing site to access equipment and collaborate.
- Excellent fine motor skills and visual acuity required for working with small, delicate SMT components.
Bonus Points For (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with PCB design and software tools (KiCAD, Altium, etc.).
- Familiarity with SharePoint or similar document management systems.
You may not check every box, or your experience may look a little different from what we've outlined, but if you are excited about this role and think you can bring value to Quantum Signal AI, we encourage you to apply!
What You’ll Get:
- $25 hourly
- 40 hours per week for 10 weeks
- Ford A/X-Plan vehicle discounts
- A relaxed, fun community and environment in which to solve interesting problems
- Opportunity to participate in a 401(k) savings plan
