Javier’s Downtown is seeking an experienced Broiler Cook to join our culinary team. We are a high-volume, upscale restaurant specializing in premium hand-cut steaks, fresh seafood, and elevated dining. Our guests expect excellence, and we’re looking for a cook who takes pride in delivering every steak with precision and consistency.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook premium steaks to the exact requested temperature.
• Master our signature seasoning and cooking techniques while maintaining consistency on every plate.
• Operate and maintain the broiler station during high-volume service.
• Ensure proper quality, presentation, and timing for every order.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and kitchen standards.
• Work closely with chefs and fellow line cooks to execute exceptional service.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of broiler or grill experience in a steakhouse or upscale restaurant.
• Strong knowledge of steak temperatures, carryover cooking, and premium cuts.
• Ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent attention to detail and consistency.
• Team-oriented with a strong work ethic and positive attitude.
• Weekend, evening, and holiday availability required.
