Noise and Vibration Engineer

Hourly Pay Range: $48-$50

Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Noise and Vibration CAE Engineer to develop and improve the noise and vibration performance of vehicle frames, bodies, and chassis. This role focuses on modifying finite element models, assembling trim body and full vehicle models, analyzing acoustic and structural performance, and identifying root causes of NV issues with solutions to enhance product quality and comfort.

Responsibilities

• Modify vehicles using finite element models
• Assemble trim body and full vehicle finite element models
• Analyze acoustic and structural performance to identify root causes and mechanisms of noise and vibration
• Develop and study countermeasures to improve noise and vibration performance

Requirements

• Bachelor's, or Master's, degree in Engineering
• 3+ years of experience performing NV CAE using Altair Hypermesh or Beta CAE ANSA
• 3+ years of experience using MSC NASTRAN or BETA META Post for frequency response analysis
• Strong understanding of acoustic and structural noise and vibration phenomena
• Preferred 1+ year of automotive engineering experience
• Experience working in multicultural team environments
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
