Salary Range: $66,000 - $99,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain standard costs for raw materials, labor, and overhead.
• Analyze manufacturing variances (material, labor, overhead) and report on root causes.
• Prepare detailed cost reports, profitability analysis, and COGS analysis for management.
• Conduct inventory valuation, reconciliation, and participate in physical inventory counts.
• Support the budgeting and forecasting process, specifically for production costs.
• Identify and recommend cost reduction opportunities and process improvements.
• Perform month-end close activities related to inventory and cost of goods sold.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 3-5 years of dedicated cost accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• In-depth knowledge of standard costing, variance analysis, and inventory valuation.
• Advanced proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical skills for cost analysis, reporting, and process improvement recommendations.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with specific manufacturing ERP modules (e.g., SAP CO, Oracle EBS, Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O).
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma principles.
• Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
• Advanced Excel modeling skills, including VBA.
