Job Summary:

The Part-Time Product Management Associate will support the management of the Premium basecoats portfolio by ensuring product availability, assisting with product launches and changes, monitoring portfolio profitability, and collaborating with cross-functional teams including supply chain, sales, marketing, and technology. The role provides valuable exposure to product management processes and analytics in the chemical industry .

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure product availability for customers through collaboration with supply chain and sales teams.
• Initiate and manage prompts for product launches and product changes, coordinating with technology colleagues and other functional teams.
• Monitor portfolio profitability and support regular reporting.
• Assist in preparing Market Position Summaries for Nonionic Product Portfolios, analyzing market demand with AMMs, Marketing, and Sales teams.
• Support and maintain the Import Tracking Database, ensuring accurate grouping of import records and sustainable reporting methods.
• Contribute to Product Complexity Reduction efforts by reviewing SAP master data and recommending product deletions or additional sample articles.
• Assist Product Managers with the market launch of Lutensol TO alcohol ethoxylates in North America.

Required Qualifications:

• Coursework in Chemistry or related field.
• Rising sophomore or junior in college.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong interpersonal skills and inquisitive mindset.
• Self-starter capable of independent work.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience or internship in product management, supply chain, or chemical industry.
• Familiarity with SAP or other enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
• Knowledge of product lifecycle management and market analysis techniques.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
