Scrum Master

job summary:
Our West Michigan Client has a contract opportunity for a Scrum Master to join thier team. This is a hybrid role in West Michigan being onsite Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. Ideal candidates will have experience with Infrastructure projects.

responsibilities:

• Facilitate Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Backlog Refinement, Sprint Review, and Retrospective.
• Track progress and help the team meet its commitments.
• Support the Product Owner and team with backlog readiness, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Coach team members on Scrum practices and working agreements.
• Identify and help remove impediments, facilitate conflict resolution, protect the team from unnecessary disruptions, and support continuous improvement.

qualifications:
Degree in information technology, business, or a related field.

Strong facilitation, coaching, and conflict-resolution skills.

Ability to build trust and collaborate with diverse teams.

Practical understanding of Agile planning and estimation.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Experience serving as a Scrum Master and supporting multiple Scrum teams.

Practical experience with ceremony facilitation, backlog refinement, team coaching, impediment removal, and continuous improvement.

Infrastructure, networking, or operations experience
