Maintenance Technician ( {{city}})
SUMMARY: The Maintenance Technician is responsible for keeping all manufacturing equipment running to meet the quality and timing requirements for our customers.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Make sure that all equipment is running as required.
- Perform preventive maintenance.
- Keep records of what maintenance (preventive and corrective) was performed on each machine.
- Perform basic machine repair.
- Perform troubleshooting on machines and determine how to repair them.
- Verify stock of critical repair items.
- Perform inspections on schedule.
- Support set-up people, as necessary.
- Answer to the supervisors, perform extra duties as necessary to support quality requirements, and delivery schedules.
- Adhere to good safety and housekeeping practices.
- Facility responsibilities with Superintendent.
- QMS/EMS responsibilities.
- Assist in other areas of company operations as deemed necessary.
QUALIFICATIONS: General knowledge:
- Shop Math.
- Recordkeeping.
- Knowledge of OSHA and MIOSHA requirements as applied to machine maintenance.
- Basic electrical maintenance and machining skills.
- Knowledge of Storm Water Plans.
- Training in driving a forklift.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum 5-years' experience in machine maintenance.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
- Candidates must possess excellent communication skills, must have the ability to train fellow employees and communicate ideas to others.
- Ability to complete machine maintenance paperwork.

- Powered Industrial Truck Permit
- Overhead Crane Permit
- Aerial Work Platform
