Skilled welder with proven proficiency in various welding techniques, including metal fabrication and interpretation of mechanical drawings with weld symbols. Experienced in working with steel alloys and aluminum using appropriate wire and filler materials. Adept in fixture setup, weld parameter adjustments, and use of conventional and precision measuring tools. Maintains high standards through process inspection, documentation, and adherence to AWS D1.1 certification requirements.

Welder Details:

• Temp-to-Hire position
• $20.00 / hour
• Full Time work available
• Weekend work required
• First Shift ( Monday through Friday from 06:00am to 04:30pm )

• Proficient in assigned welding techniques.

• Must pass internal weld certification test per AWS D1.1

• Proficient in metal fabrication.

• Interpretation of mechanical drawings, including weld symbols.

• Knowledge of wire and filler materials applications for various steel alloys and aluminum.

• Working knowledge of the use of fixtures and weld set up parameters (amps, volts, etc.).

• Working knowledge of conventional and precision measuring instruments.

• Perform per the weld books established and present in each work cell.

• Process inspection, certification and documentation.

Welder Qualifications:

Certified Welder with the ability to pass internal weld certification tests per AWS D1.1 standards

Extensive knowledge of MIG, TIG, and Stick welding techniques

Proficient in reading and interpreting mechanical drawings, blueprints, and weld symbols

Strong understanding of metal fabrication processes and materials, including steel alloys and aluminum

Skilled in selecting and applying appropriate wire and filler materials for various applications

Experience in setting up fixtures and adjusting weld parameters (e.g., amperage, voltage) for optimal performance

• Applicant may be subject to a background check
• Pre-employment drug screen (Excluding THC) is required as a condition of employment
