Salary Range: $51,000 - $78,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Provide first-level technical support for hardware, software, and network issues for office and production users.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with manufacturing specific systems, including shop floor terminals, barcode scanners, and label printers.
• Log, track, and document all support requests and resolutions in the ticketing system.
• Assist with the setup, configuration, and deployment of new workstations, mobile devices, and peripherals.
• Collaborate with senior IT staff and OT engineers for complex issues requiring escalation.
• Perform basic network troubleshooting and connectivity checks for factory floor equipment.
• Educate users on best practices and provide basic training for common software applications.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proven experience diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and network issues in a production environment.
• Familiarity with IT systems common in manufacturing (e.g., MES, ERP, shop floor terminals, industrial PCs).
• Basic understanding of industrial networking protocols and peripheral device connectivity.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills, capable of assisting users with varying technical proficiency.
• Ability to create and maintain clear, concise technical documentation and knowledge base articles.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience supporting Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) or ERP modules used in production.
• Familiarity with Industrial Control Systems (ICS) or Operational Technology (OT) environments.
• Understanding of shop floor operations and the criticality of IT support in a production setting.
• Experience with ruggedized hardware or mobile devices commonly used in industrial environments.
