DoubleTree Suites by Hilton Hotel Detroit Downtown – Fort Shelby is seeking a dedicated Banquet Houseperson to join our team!

Shift Pattern: Full availability needed for this role including nights, overnights, weekends, and holidays - Part Time role, shifts will depends on events
Pat Rate: $17 per hour

What will I be doing?
- Setting Up, Tearing Down of events
- Maintenance of banquet events and banquet facilities. Clean designated areas including, but not limited to, restrooms, public areas, offices and banquet/meeting/conference rooms
- Perform tasks including, but not limited to, dusting and polishing furniture and fixtures, vacuuming, mopping, sweeping, shampooing carpets, washing windows, cleaning/waxing floors, removing and disposing of trash and emptying ashtrays
- Greet guests in a friendly manner
- Report maintenance deficiencies and items in need of repair
- Stock and maintain supply rooms, as needed
Perform deep cleaning tasks and special projects (for example: furniture moves, etc.), as needed

Requirements:
- 2 + years customer service experience required
- Albe to Lift/push/pull up to 50Lbs -required
- Flexibility to work weekdays, weekends and holidays - Must be available to work various shifts
- Prior Hotel or Banquets experience is preferred
