Required Certifications
Candidates must have:
Active Michigan RN License
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) – AHA
Basic Life Support (BLS) – AHA
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) – AHA
Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC)

Experience Required: Minimum 2 years of ER experience

ER Unit Information
Trauma Level: IV
Beds: 14 ER beds
Trauma Bays: 2
Fast Track: Yes (3 rooms)
Triage Rooms: 2
Daily Patient Volume: 40–60 patients
Day: 1:3–4

Night: Higher ratios after 11 PM
Additional Unit Details
ED Physician: In-house 24/7
Respiratory Therapy: Available 24/7
Phlebotomy: Available 24/7
CT & X-Ray: Available nearby
Monitoring: Central monitoring station

Schedule Requirements
Every other weekend required
Holiday rotation required
Manager creates the schedule

Orientation
8 hours computer-based training
2 days floor orientation
1 day department-specific training

Important Submission Note
If a clinician previously worked at Marshfield, they must have:
Left the facility at least 6 months before submission
