PAY RANGE: $14.00-$20.00 per hour

**Job Description:**

Bread Basket Deli is seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Crew Member to join our team. As a Crew Member, you will play a vital role in providing excellent service to our customers and ensuring the smooth operation of our deli.

**Responsibilities:**

- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently to process customer orders accurately and in a timely manner.

- Handle cash transactions and maintain a balanced cash register at all times.

- Prepare delicious and high-quality sandwiches according to customer preferences and company standards.

- Assist in food preparation tasks such as slicing meat, chopping vegetables, and preparing ingredients.

- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the deli counter, dining area, and kitchen to uphold food safety standards.

- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting and assisting customers, answering their questions, and addressing any concerns or special requests.

- Uphold a positive attitude and work effectively as part of a team to ensure a smooth and efficient operation.

- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure the health and safety of customers and staff.

- Assist with receiving and stocking inventory as needed.

**Requirements:**

- Previous experience in a fast-paced food service or retail environment is preferred but not required.

- Ability to learn quickly and efficiently operate a POS system.

- Strong communication skills and a friendly, customer-oriented attitude.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

- Willingness to learn and follow food safety and sanitation procedures.

- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.

- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
