Position: Front Counter Customer Service Representative & Order Intake

Reports To: General Manager
Location: 260 Ann Arbor Rd, Plymouth, MI 48170

Pay Range: $17–$20 per hour, depending on experience + team-based performance bonuses
Bonuses are tied to team sales performance and accuracy, helping reduce reprints and reward quality work.

Position Overview

Greko Printing & Marketing is looking for a front counter professional with real print shop experience to be the face of our company.

This role is critical — you are the first interaction customers have with Greko. You’ll be responsible for guiding customers through their print projects, quoting jobs, writing up orders, and ensuring everything is set up correctly for production .

We are not looking for general retail experience — this position requires hands-on experience in a print environment and working directly with customers on print projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet and assist walk-in customers with a professional, welcoming approach
• Handle incoming calls, emails, and leads with speed and accuracy
• Quote jobs and clearly explain pricing, options, and timelines to customers
• Write up detailed print orders and ensure all specs are accurate for production
• Work closely with sales and production teams to ensure smooth job flow
• Manage customer expectations and provide updates on order status
• Resolve customer issues or concerns with a solutions-focused mindset
• Process payments and maintain organized job records in the system
• Support daily front counter and office operations

Required Qualifications

• Previous experience working in a print shop (REQUIRED)
• Experience working directly with customers in a service-based environment
• Experience using PrintSmith or another print estimating/order entry system (strongly preferred)
• Strong understanding of print products, materials, and basic terminology
• Ability to quote jobs and interpret customer needs accurately
• Comfortable handling multiple jobs and priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Detail-oriented with strong follow-through
• Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, email, order systems)

Bonus / Preferred Skills

• Graphic design experience (Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) is a BIG plus
• Experience preparing or reviewing print-ready files
• Familiarity with digital and offset printing processes
