Industrial Technician

Position Summary:

Due to tremendous growth, we are looking for a full-time Industrial Technician to join our team in the Grand Rapids, Michigan area.

Responsibilities:

• Complete mechanical repairs and adjustments as needed.
• Perform preventative maintenance on all machinery / overhead cranes as assigned.
• Successfully troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems.
• Complete welding and fabrication tasks with little direction.
• Machine print reading (electrical & mechanical).
• Able to complete equipment upgrades.
• Able to complete service orders accurately.

Education/Experience:

• A valid driver’s license and good driving record
• 1+ year of crane repair experience
• 5+ years industrial maintenance experience.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read machine schematics and manuals.
• Experience with mechanical systems.
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office/Apple phones.
• Not afraid of heights.
• Able to operate manlifts.
