Salary Range: $65,000 - $92,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the finishing department, ensuring production targets are met.
• Manage, train, and mentor a team of finishing technicians and operators.
• Ensure all finished products adhere to established quality standards and specifications.
• Optimize workflow and scheduling to maximize efficiency and minimize downtime.
• Monitor equipment performance, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate preventive maintenance.
• Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures within the finishing area.
• Track and report on key production metrics, including output, quality, and scrap rates.

Recommended Qualifications

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in manufacturing finishing operations, including supervisory responsibilities.
• Proficiency in various finishing techniques (e.g., painting, powder coating, polishing, assembly) and related equipment.
• Proven ability to lead, train, and motivate a production team to meet output and quality targets.
• Strong understanding and application of quality control principles and inspection methods for finished products.
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills for production issues, quality defects, and process optimization.
• Knowledge of manufacturing safety regulations and best practices to ensure a safe work environment.

Bonus Qualifications

• Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma Green Belt certification
• Proficiency with enterprise resource planning (ERP) or manufacturing execution systems (MES)
• Experience with automated finishing and packaging equipment
• Formal leadership development or supervisory training certifications
