Perm - Social Worker / Supervisor - Adult Behavioral Health / Social Work

Location: Michigan (On-site, travel as needed)
Salary: $36.31 – $49.13/hour (based on licensure and experience)
Shift: Monday–Thursday 8:30 AM – 7 PM, Friday 8:30 AM – 5 PM, Saturday 9 AM – 1 PM
Weekend/On-Call: As needed based on program requirements

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced ACT Supervisor / Therapist with a Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, or Counseling and full Michigan LMSW licensure . This role combines clinical leadership, team supervision, and direct service delivery for adults with serious mental illness within a community mental health setting .

The ACT Supervisor ensures fidelity to the Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) model , provides direct therapeutic services , supervises a multidisciplinary team, and supports clients and their families in achieving mental health goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead ACT program staff: ACT advocates, nurses, and peer support specialists.
• Ensure identification, engagement, and service delivery for ACT participants.
• Maintain ACT fidelity standards and evidence-based practices.
• Provide direct therapy and mental health interventions.
• Participate in crisis response, including after-hours support as needed.
• Track program outcomes, prepare reports, and maintain detailed records.
• Collaborate with clients, families, community stakeholders, and agency staff.
• Promote a nonjudgmental, culturally competent approach to client care.

Required Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, or Counseling.
• Full Michigan LMSW licensure.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience treating adults with serious mental illness.
• Competence in mental health and co-occurring substance use treatment.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to handle crisis situations appropriately.
• Eligibility to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Highly Preferred:

• Experience in a community mental health setting.
• Supervisory experience, particularly in an ACT team.
• Experience maintaining program fidelity and evidence-based interventions.

Professional Development:

• Meet criteria for Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) within 120 days of hire.
• Obtain Certified Advanced Addictions Counselor (CAADC) credential through MCBAP within 30 days of hire.
• Apply for Certified Clinical Supervisor (CCS) credential through MCBAP following CAADC issuance.
