Rate of Pay: $114,814.00 to $143,600.00 per Year

*Duties: * Design and prototype advanced full-stack cloud-native systems using the MEAN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, Angular, Node.js), micro-app frameworks, and serverless technologies. Analyze and solve complex design challenges, evaluating solutions against system and API Gateway requirements. Lead research and design studies for scalable modular applications, microservices, and cloud-native architecture, ensuring alignment with microservices and API management strategies. Translate user needs into detailed designs, focusing on front-end (Angular), back-end (Node.js/Express.js), database (MongoDB), and serverless components. Balance design trade-offs around scalability, cost optimization, and maintainability in cloud-native environments. Utilize best practices in modular app development, serverless deployments, and API Gateway management, especially with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services like Cloud Functions, Firebase, Apigee, and Cloud Run. Estimate development time, plan resources, and produce comprehensive documentation for project requirements, including architecture diagrams and security compliance materials. Manage API traffic and security using API management platforms like Apigee, ensuring performance, scalability, and compliance. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, contributing to continuous improvements, troubleshooting, and optimizing system interactions. Stay updated with advancements in MEAN stack, serverless computing, and GCP technologies. Apply knowledge of healthcare workflows and regulatory requirements to design secure, compliant cloud-native systems. Lead the creation and refinement of technical documentation and mentor others on R&D procedures, including design controls, risk management, and quality systems. Work with cross-functional teams to support modular product development, serverless backend services, and API Gateway implementations. Deliver high-quality results focused on scalability, modularity, and compliance with industry standards such as SoC2, and HIPAA.

*Requirements: * Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related field (will accept foreign education equivalent) and four (4) years of experience with software development, programming, systems analysis, software engineering, or other roles involving the design, development, testing, or maintenance of software systems. Alternatively, a Master's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related field (will accept foreign education equivalent) and two (2) years of experience with software development, programming, systems analysis, software engineering, or other roles involving the design, development, testing, or maintenance of software systems.
