Shipping and Receiving Coordinator
Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Shipping Coordinator to join our team in Grand Rapids, MI. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring that our products are shipped efficiently and accurately. Responsibilities
- Coordinate and oversee the shipping process from start to finish.
- Prepare shipping documents, including bills of lading and customs paperwork.
- Communicate with carriers and suppliers to schedule pickups and deliveries.
- Monitor shipment status and resolve any issues that arise during transit.
- Maintain accurate records of shipments and inventory levels.
- Collaborate with the warehouse team to ensure timely order fulfillment.
- Implement and improve shipping procedures to enhance efficiency.
- Assist with inventory management and stock replenishment as needed.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Chaufers license is required.
- Box truck driving experience required
- Proven experience in shipping, logistics, or supply chain management.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and shipping software.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of shipping regulations and customs procedures is a plus.
