Salary Range: $69,000 - $108,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and ensure high availability of IT and Operational Technology (OT) systems, including servers, networks, and shop-floor devices.
• Provide expert-level support for manufacturing-specific applications such as MES, SCADA, PLC interfaces, and ERP modules critical to production.
• Implement and maintain robust cybersecurity measures for both IT and OT environments to protect against threats and ensure data integrity.
• Perform regular system backups, develop disaster recovery plans, and conduct tests to minimize production downtime.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex hardware, software, and network issues across the manufacturing plant, often requiring on-site presence.
• Administer network infrastructure, including industrial Ethernet and wireless systems, ensuring reliable connectivity for production processes.
• Collaborate with production teams and external vendors to integrate new technologies and optimize existing systems for manufacturing efficiency.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proficiency in Windows Server administration (Active Directory, GPO, DNS) and Linux environments.
• Experience with network infrastructure (TCP/IP, VLANs, firewalls) and industrial networking protocols.
• Hands-on experience with virtualization platforms (VMware vSphere, Microsoft Hyper-V) and server hardware maintenance.
• Familiarity with manufacturing execution systems (MES), SCADA, and PLC integration.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices, data backup, and disaster recovery for critical production systems.
• Ability to automate tasks and manage configurations using scripting (e.g., PowerShell, Python).

Bonus Qualifications

• Familiarity with industrial control systems (ICS), SCADA, or Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES).
• Experience supporting ERP systems commonly used in manufacturing (e.g., SAP, Oracle EBS, Microsoft Dynamics).
• Understanding of network segmentation and security principles for converged IT/OT environments.
• Knowledge of IoT devices or Industry 4.0 concepts in a manufacturing context.
