Risk & Compliance Specialist
- Assess and approve/reject new accounts for fraud or risk on a daily basis
- Maintain and complete PCI, SOC 2, and other compliance reports as required
- Track and identify national and state compliance changes and requirements
- Manage all company contracts (sales and vendors), ensuring renewals and obligations are tracked
- Monitor and report on fraud trends, compliance status, and contract renewals
- Recommend and implement risk prevention and compliance process improvements
- Create and update policies and procedures to address risks and maintain compliance
- Provide training and guidance to employees on compliance requirements
- Experience in risk and compliance: 5+ years in risk management, fraud prevention, or compliance roles
- Knowledge of compliance frameworks: Familiarity with PCI, SOC 2, and related standards
- Organized and detail-driven: Comfortable managing multiple reports, contracts, and documentation simultaneously
- Analytical problem-solver: Can identify risks, propose solutions, and implement corrective measures
- Cross-functional collaborator: Able to work effectively with Finance, Product, Engineering, Legal, and Customer Success
- Experience in SaaS, fintech, or other regulated industries
- Background in fraud detection, payment risk, or contract management
- Previous involvement in SOC 2 or PCI audits
