**What You'll Do:**
+ Provide customer service to clients, patients, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as needed within the healthcare environment.
+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and surrounding areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or potential disruptions.
+ Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas to help to deter unauthorized access and/or breaches of protocol.
+ Communicate clearly with staff, visitors, and emergency personnel as required, following established protocols.
+ Document and report all security-related incidents, observations, and activities in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific procedures.
+ Assist with access control and visitor management to help to deter security-related risks within the healthcare location.
**Minimum Requirements:**
+ Vaccines required for hospital roles.
+ Ability to work in hospital morgue environments.
+ Must be at least 21 years of age.
+ Ability to safely restrain individuals in hospital settings.
+ Alarm panel experience is preferred.
+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
