We are seeking a dedicated and innovative Assistant Project Manager to join our team, who is eager to learn and adapt in a dynamic environment. This role involves supporting the Project Manager and the Director of Construction Development across various activities related to project development, ensuring effective collaboration and contributing to the successful completion of our diverse projects. If you are driven, detail-oriented, and ready to grow professionally, we would love to have you on board.
Duties and Responsibilities: As an Assistant Project Manager you will:
Assist in various aspects related to construction projects, from bidding to building.
Analyze Plans and Specifications Material Take Offs.
Help solicit subcontractors and material suppliers.
Review Quotes and invoices to confirm they meet requirements.
Participate in planning, coordinating, overseeing, and managing administrative project activities.
Contribute to budget development and time schedules.
Assist in preparing subcontractor and supplier contracts and purchase orders.
Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, and field personnel.
Manage material submittals, and delivery as required.
Maintain professional communication, both written and oral, with all project stakeholders.
Attend and document project progress meetings.
Qualifications: Associate Degree in Construction Management and work experience and/or graduate level coursework in a field supporting the job requirements
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work as a team member.
Ability to prioritize tasks and meet multiple deadlines.
Bilingual English-Spanish desired
High degree of independence, motivation, and accountability
Work well in a team-oriented environment and ability to work independently, managing multiple priorities.
Strong math, computer, analytical, and communication skills.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word etc.)
Commitment to our mission.
Must have reliable transportation.
Must be able to accurately read a blue print.
