Landscaping Technician
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Licensed Landscaping Contractor (Insured) to take on subcontract job at Handy Banjo . The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work and a strong understanding of landscape maintenance. This role involves various tasks related to the care and upkeep of residential and commercial landscapes, ensuring they remain healthy, attractive, and functional.
Tasks
- Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, and edging lawns to promote healthy growth.
- Irrigate plants and lawns effectively to ensure optimal hydration.
- Utilize power tools safely for various landscaping tasks, including but not limited to lawn care and tree care.
- Build and maintain landscape features such as flower beds, pathways, and decorative elements.
- Conduct regular inspections of landscapes to identify issues such as pests or diseases and take appropriate action.
- Provide mechanical knowledge by performing basic repairs on landscaping equipment as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while adhering to safety protocols.
- Proven experience in landscape maintenance or a related field is required (5 plus years).
- Equipments required- Edger, Lawnmower, Trimmer, Blower, Rakes, Commercial Garbage Bags etc.
- Familiarity with irrigation systems and techniques for effective watering of plants.
- Knowledge of tree care practices including pruning, planting, and disease management.
- Must have a vehicle with him/her to carry equipment to the location.
- Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment.
