Electrical Assembler
- Fabricate electrical and/or mechanical assemblies
- Follow manufacturing planning for instructions and inspection requirements.
- Perform wire cutting, stripping, dressing ends and other simple cable operations
- Solder wires and other electronic components
- Perform assembly operations or inspection under microscope or other magnifying device as required
- Perform intermediate assembly tasks, such as potting, encapsulating, sanding, cleaning, epoxy bonding, curing, arbor pressing
- Assemble bearings, pistons, O-rings, seals, springs etc. into machined housings
- Verify dimensions and or performance using standard measuring instruments
- Other job related task as assigned
- 2nd Shift: 2:30 PM - 11 PM
- 3rd Shift: 9:30 PM - 6 AM
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to read and understand manufacturing planning instructions
- 2-3 years of hands on experience with electrical and mechanical assemblies
- 1-2 years of experience in electrical soldering and wire crimping is a plus
- 1-2 years in using precision tools, fixture and measuring equipment is desirable
- Ability to read and assemble parts from manufacturing planning instructions
- Ability to perform detailed work requiring fine motor skills
- Capable of lifting 50 pounds from floor to height of 25 inches, capable of pushing or pulling a weight of 60 pounds, have a grip strength of at least 50 pounds and be able to reach above shoulder 65 inches above floor level (minimum).
- Responsible for and accountable for product safety and the quality of work, including, as a minimum, all elements defined in the Company’s Quality Policy
- U.S. Citizenship required
- Position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Government Security Clearance, if needed.
